A tree was cut down in your backyard today. Suvi was really sad about it. The landscape gardener explained to us that the tree was infected by a fungus and would most likely have come down on its own during the next storm – and possibly in the direction of the house.

Even though these pictures have a sad vibe to them – and I just took them today, I already know they will be among my favorites from this year.

Ja. Wir haben immer Angst, dass sie den Baum direkt vor unserem Fenster fällen. Da kann man wunderbar Eichhörnchen beobachten. Und er spendet uns Schatten. Hoffe der hält noch ne Weile durch. 🤞
