Welcome back to the regular old mix of subjects. Today I spotted a spotted woodpecker in the backyard. I even managed to get the long lens (still not long enough though) in time to grab a couple of shots.

I am on the final stretch with the beyond tellerrand images. 200 images left in the final selection. The goal is to get that number down to around 150 to make them more digestible. I find this to be a good amount that is not overwhelming while still substantial, if that makes sense. I really enjoy this process of culling and sequencing.

I also really enjoy the process of culling and sequencing. It's almost a little therapeutic. Though I hit a wall today and gave up. I shot over 5,000 hummingbird photos, and it was just too much. 😂 When I get some more time, I'm going to experiment with LR's “Assisted Culling" feature on this hummingbird set and see how it does. Normally, I don't want any help sorting and picking, but this many bird shots are killing me!
