Nine days ago these two little baby pigeons hatched! Dare I say finally? We don't know what happened last year, but mom never laid any eggs. Two years ago the nest was attacked by some bird of prey and they lost all of their eggs. This year they initially had three, but one was stolen by a squirrel. (I shit you not, we actually saw it!) Now these two weird looking babies are here and we are watching them every day. (This is also the first time in many years I wished I still owned a longer lens.)
