I am currently in a place where the nearest autobahn is almost 100 km away. I went to a supermarket the other day: They opened a second register as soon as three people where waiting in line – which is kind of refreshing, coming from a place where this only happens, if one of the waiting customers complains very loudly. I have a feeling that three shoppers at once is peak hour in this place. Completely unrelated to this: I wish I brought my bike.
