Nice calm views, but some of them are very dark (or underexposed?) Is that intentional? A lot of your images are quite dark, even though my monitor is calibrated.
I like my images dark and moody, but I wouldn't call them underexposed. At least on the monitors I am looking at them they work β for me. (However none of my monitors are calibratedβ¦ π€·ββοΈ)
Sure, it's a personal creative choice, of course. I just wanted to make sure. For example, there is no top-end highlight (Ansel Adams' IX or X) in the second photo of the linked entry. Not that there has to be, of course!
Yeah no, that was not by mistake. I just like the image that way. π It matches what It felt like in the moment.
I only use the histogram to make sure that highlights are not clipping (if I can help it). Other than that, my post processing happens mostly by *feeling*.
I also try to spend as little time as possible with post processing. (I enjoy being outside, taking photos way more!) Plus, I am in front of a computer way too much anyway so I don't want to spend even more time tweaking my photographs. π
