This is my wife's Gedankenkiste (German for box of thoughts). It was one of my first presents to her (the box with the stenciled title) as a container for her diaries. It currently contains almost 28 years of handwritten diaries. She has tried many formats and notebooks over the years and it is a proper ritual every time a new one is prepared and the current one is archived. I'll probably have to get her another box soon.
