Went to Cologne today to attend Fujikina. Listened to a very interesting talk by Stefan Finger about how he approaches projects. Had a friendly conversation at the Cewe booth and might finally try another printing service. Saw amazing photographs by Nina Papiorek from her visit to Chongqing (重庆, Chóngqìng), a fascinating Chinese mega city. Really, do yourself a favor and take a look!

A side note on that: Her pronunciation of the name was way off — and it came up every couple of sentences. I have to add that I studied Chinese for a few years and although I've forgotten pretty much everything, I still cringe when the pronunciation is butchered like that. 🙈 That is obviously totally on me. I was almost ready to correct her after the talk, but I certainly didn't want to be that guy. Then again, maybe it would have been helpful? Then again, if she really wanted to know, it's one web search away. I digress…
