Made it back home. All in all, it was a very smooth trip. Especially the layover in Izmir was really nice – compared to last year's race through the airport to catch our connecting flight. This time around: A very short walk and a passport check to get to the gate, no lines, no superfluous security checks. We even had time to get something to eat.
