I met up with Daniel in Düsseldorf this morning and we took part in a photo walk organized by the Fujifilm X Den. We were able to borrow the new X Half camera and I decided to shoot "a roll of Acros" – 36 photos, five of which you can see above. It only shoots JPGs, and the only adjustments I made were to straighten some lines. (Press "M" to toggle metadata, btw.) Quick recap: The camera is not for me, but as I said before, I love that Fuji makes cameras like the X Half.
I was also able to shoot with the new 23mm F/2.8, which I will most definitely buy once it becomes available in December – and trade in my 23mm F/2.0 for it.
The staff at the X Den were incredibly friendly. We had interesting conversations, free drinks (thanks!) and after the photo walk we were able to print our images right there for free (thanks again!). They also have a great selection of photo books and regularly organize various meetups and photo walks. I am sure I'll be back there soon. 🙂 I could not find a website for the X Den, so I guess the best way to get info about their events might be the Fujifilm Newsletter (← link at the bottom of the page).
